Boater Safety Certificate Course

The @hlwmm is pleased to be working with USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 2-1 to register boaters for an in-person boater safety course to be held at the Phoenix Fire Department on Saturday, May 22, 9:00-5:30.

The course is necessary for boating in our New York State Waters, and their tailored approach is better than a “one size fits all” approach. The ability to ask questions and receive answers as well as interaction with other students cannot be over emphasized.

We offer the most professional course in the area. All our instructors have many years of both pleasure and commercial experience. All are Coast Guard Auxiliary and New York State certified boating instructors, and our lead instructors are licensed captains.

At the end of each instructional session, we offer unlimited time to discuss any boating related topics and adventures.

All operators of motorized vessels, regardless of age, will need to obtain a boating safety certificate by January 1, 2025.  For any questions, or to register for the course, give us a call at 315-342-0480.  Cost is $35.
